A city crossed by two rivers—the Rhône and the Saône—immediately takes on a special charm: its riverbanks and quays, leisurely walks, daydreams on terraces, and cruises...
A city founded in 43 BC, Lyon proudly preserves a heritage that its inhabitants cherish and bring to life: the Nuits de Fourvière festival held in the ancient theatres, the restaurants, secondhand bookshops, art galleries, and flea markets that animate Vieux-Lyon are just a few examples.
And in Lyon, it goes without saying that good food is cherished, along with a cultivated art of living, where the pleasures of strolling, shopping, and vibrant cultural life are only some of the facets!
Finally, it’s easy to escape the city to enjoy various activities in its parks and gardens, or venture further into Beaujolais or the entire Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
So, are you ready to discover Lyon and its surroundings?
